Soulspace

Soulspace is just what it says - a space for you to be still; and look at beautiful displays including water , trees, art and flowers.

Jubilee Debt Campaign

Jubilee Debt Campaign held its first International women's day event in 2011.
This year we would like to invite you to a very special evening at St Philip's cathedral Colmore Row, Birmingham.

On Wednesday March 7th we shall be showing the film" Pray the Devil back to Hell" which features Christian and Muslim women working together in Liberia during the civil war, two  of the women  later received the Nobel Peace Prize for their work.
The Very Reverend Catherine Ogle Dean of Birmingham will host the event and Lotifa Begum from Islamic Relief will speak .

The event  will focus on the work Jubilee Debt Campaign which has played such an important role in debt cancellation for Liberia. 
The gathering is free for women of ALL faiths and None. A collection will be taken to cover expenses incurred.

Fairtrade Fortnight

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight in Coventry we welcome

Olive farmers from Palestinian Co-operatives

Riziq Abu Nasser, an olive farmer from Dier Isyta, and Taysir Arbasi, Zaytoun’s director in Palestine will speak about their lives and work, and the challenges of the political situation in Palestine.

The meeting will be at 12.30 pm on Tuesday 28th February 2012
